What's your favorite book series? If you're one of the kids in my class, your answer is most likely Harry Potter. Harry Potter is a series by J.K.Rowling that takes place in an imaginary world where magic exists. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley all end up going to a school for wizards and witches. Before they start their journey, they are assigned houses for them to stay with. Houses are a type of group that you are included in. There are four houses in hogwarts: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Today I want to tell you some interesting facts about each house… depending on your mbti, the houses you may be included in may differ. Let’s find out which house you’re in.

Gryffindor 

Let’s start with the most famous house, Gryffindor. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley are all in Gryffindor. Gryffindor’s animal is a Lion. Gryffindor values braveness, a daring mind, a handful of honesty, and confidence. Also, depending on your mbti, your house can be different. Some Gryffindor mbti are:  INFJ, ENFJ, ESFJ, ESFP.  They are all very brave. They have the willing minds to do anything that’s right. 

 Slytherin

Slytherin is usually said to be the villains. But, I don’t think so. Slytherin’s animal is a snake. Some words to describe Slytherin: Cunning, Resourceful, Bold, and Assertive. The mbti of these subtle wizards and witches are: ENTJ, ENTP, ESTP, ESTJ. Slytherin values leadership, resourcefulness, and a brain full of ambition. They are assertive people who would sacrifice the world for their loved ones… Even if they were villains, isn’t it the most villainous thing to turn into the good guys?

Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw is a house where the wizards and witches are intelligent, Creative, Quick-Witted and Clever. The mbti of these quick-witted fellows are: INTP, INTJ, ISTP, ENFP. They are all witty and intelligent. They value wisdom and knowledge, and wit and creativity. These smart Ravens are the kind of people you would see creating artwork like nobody else’s.

 

Hufflepuff

Hufflepuff is a house full of hardworking, friendly students who are very dependable. They value  patience, courage, loyalty and justice. The mbti of these loyal badger friends are: INFP, ISFP, ISTJ, ISFJ. They are friendly fellows who would be the first to help a friend that needs it or to be there when you need them. It’s great to have a hufflepuff friend by your side. 

 

 

 

We have now looked at every house and it’s mbti. If the descriptions fit you perfectly, maybe that’s your house. So, let’s go through a quick review. If you are described as Gryffindor, you’re most likely to do the right thing. If you belong to Slytherin, you are ambitious and assertive. Ravenclaw is a house where the people are creative and quick - witted. And last, Hufflepuff is a place where its wizards and witches are kind, loyal, and helpful.
